6-Month MP ADPO Preparation Strategy for Beginners

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) is expected to announce the Assistant District Public Prosecution Officer (ADPO) Recruitment 2025 soon. 6 Month plan to prepare for the examination

  • Make current affairs your friend

The first step to begin the journey of GK and current affairs is to make daily or weekly notes of current affairs in MP and worldwide. The best source for current affairs is the Newspaper; however, you can also refer to an authentic website that suits you. The daily current affairs notes will help you to begin, and at a later stage, help in revision. Make sure to read the current affairs daily from the notes. Once you are in the habit of keeping up with current affairs and GK, move to a structured daily schedule.

Month-wise planning of subjects

  • Month 1-3

Start your preparation with Core law subjects. If you have already prepared them, then start revising them. Core Law subjects included in the examination are-

Along with core law subjects, choose the law subjects that are related to the core law subjects or are read with them.

General Knowledge of MP

In the first three months, prepare the History and Geography of Madhya Pradesh from any suggested authentic book. Attempt as many questions as possible to understand the paper pattern of the PSC examination.

  • Month 4-5

Cover the rest of the MP-related subjects and other miscellaneous subjects in the fourth and fifth months. Start with a revision of core law subjects, and also prepare the rest of the GK of MP. At this stage, solve questions from these subjects and make yourself comfortable with the question pattern.

GK of MP that needs to be covered, along with other parts, is:

  1. General Knowledge of M.P.: Culture, festivals, personalities, tourist places.
  2. Politics & Economy of M.P.: Governance, Panchayati Raj, industries, agriculture.
  3. Current Events: Last 1 year’s important national, international, and state events.
  • Month 6

Cover all the Misc part left to be covered.  Revise the current affairs notes and law subjects. The GK should be completed by this time with proper notes to revise. Start making a short, last-minute revision of complex portions so that they can be revised at the last moment.
